RADIESSE
Radiesse® Biostimulator in Montebello CA
Radiesse® is a unique injectable biostimulator designed to restore volume and improve skin quality by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen production. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel.
It’s commonly used for:
Lifting and contouring the cheeks, jawline, and chin
Improving skin laxity on the lower face and neck
Restoring volume to aging hands
Enhancing skin firmness and texture over time
Radiesse is FDA-approved for both facial and hand rejuvenation, and can be used in both a filler-like and collagen-stimulating capacity, depending on your needs.
How Does Radiesse Work?
Radiesse works in two powerful phases. First, it provides immediate volume and contour as the gel fills and supports the skin. Over time, the CaHA microspheres stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin, gradually improving skin firmness, elasticity, and texture—even after the initial gel is absorbed.
When diluted and hyperdiluted, Radiesse can also be used as a biostimulatory skin booster, ideal for crepey skin on the neck, décolletage, arms, or other areas showing early signs of aging.
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
Many clients see results after a single treatment, with collagen stimulation continuing for several months. For skin quality improvement or larger treatment areas (like the neck or body), a series of 2 to 3 treatments spaced about 6 to 8 weeks apart may be recommended.
Results typically last 12 to 18 months, and maintenance treatments can be done annually to continue collagen support and volume restoration.
What Should I Expect on Treatment Day
After a detailed consultation and facial assessment, we’ll clean and prep the area. A topical numbing cream or lidocaine-containing solution is used for comfort. The Radiesse is then injected either with a needle or cannula, depending on the area being treated. Treatment typically takes 30 to 45 minutes.
Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites is common and temporary. Most clients return to normal activities within 24 hours. You’ll receive aftercare instructions to support your healing and collagen-building process.

Jeuveau is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used in adults for a short period of time (temporary) to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines).

Jeuveau is a neurotoxin, which works by a molecule that’s called prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs. It inhibits the release of a certain chemical that helps prevent movement in certain muscles.
-
Neurotoxin is metabolized differently for everyone and not all people have the same facial muscle strength. Some may repeat muscle contractions from frowning or squinting more than others. The average duration of toxin injections last about 5-6 months.
In clinical trials, Jeuveau was shown to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines. 68% - 70% of Jeuveau patients had a 2-grade or better in severity of lines and wrinkles, visible results reported as early as 2 days after treatment. At 5 months after treatment, 38% of patients had visible results with Jeuveau maintained.
